Lori was raised on a farm in a small community in central California. From an early age, Lori has created many events and capitalized on various opportunities, teaching, training, or leading activities that crossed her path.

As a young girl, she excelled in school (4-H, FFA, Sports, Community Service, etc.). She was voted the Outstanding Youth in her city by the Optimist Club 1975/76 and, in college, was the Western States Collegiate Livestock judge! Due to her hard work, dedication, and commitment to various activities, Lori had the opportunity to compete on the Local, State, and National levels, winning numerous awards and recognition in all cases. Always looking for opportunities to involve others, whether, in fundraising, community projects, sports, or to have fun, Lori has proven to be a great encourager and a team player. 

After attending Reedley College and Cal State University Chico, Lori successfully pursued management opportunities and the occasion to own and operate her businesses. Participating in successful business ventures over the years, Ms. Couto has served on the Board of Directors for Kingdom Life Academy, New Family Ministries, the Chamber of Commerce(s), Deborah, Esther, and Company, the Volunteer Center, as well as a host of other conventions, conferences, and sundry committees while working in the colleges and universities sector. Lori served as Department Head of Alumni Relations, Development, Campus Dining, Food Service, Community Relations, Media Relations, and Special Events. Comparably, Lori has coordinated the oversight of U.S. Presidential Campaigns, Commencements, Conventions, Conferences, Seminars, Golf Tournaments, Retreats, Fundraisers, Judging Contests, Music Tours, and many special projects and private events, including countless weddings over the years. She enjoys pickleball (most sports) coaching, helping people succeed, public speaking, travel, friends, church, and family!

In 2012 Lori started working in the Entertainment Industry as an Agent/Manager to assist in the development of MWO Management Company. This multi-task-oriented individual has kept her hand in “everything; with a contagious love for Christ, an intense passion for people, and a desire to succeed with over 40 years of managerial experience, Lori’s has started KUDOZ 2 U DESSERTS & MORE…a mobile vendor trailer serving soft-serve desserts, fresh baked cookies, waffles, breakfast biscuits/burritos, pocket sandwiches, including grill cheese and P&J, hot cocoa, coffee, drinks and more.
